Quality Engineer - Worcester area

Salary up to £35000-£43000

KPS Selection are currently working with a leading manufacturer in the Worcester area. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer join their quality department working on various projects, investigations and non conformance management.

Duties will include

Working closely with all departments including manufacturing, engineering, design and procurement to facilitate metallurgical investigations and NPI approvals

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving the Quality strategy, policies, processes standards and systems including participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensuring product conformity

Working closely with senior members of the team including the Quality Manager to ensure all quality systems are adhered to

Update quality documentation and communicate to carry forward lessons learned from quality concerns

Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out to the team so that each member can understand the standards and behaviours expected of them

Skills/Experience

Experience of RCCA, 5Y Analysis and 8D

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Good communication, Attention to detail and organisation skills

Educated to degree or similar with a materials science, metallurgy or related discipline

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
