CAD Designer

Wernick Hire are looking to recruit a CAD Designer to be based at their depot in Chawston. This role would ideally suit an experienced CAD Designer, however suitable candidates may be considered for a trainee/graduate role.

Skills and Experience:

Familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
A good understanding of the construction industry is an ideal but not a necessity as full training will be given to suitable candidates.
Self-motivated with the ability to work as a team member.
Excellent communicator.

Attention to detail and good presentation skills.

Creative thinker and a good problem-solver.

Committed and enthusiastic individual.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties to Include:
Use AutoCAD to create, review and modify drawings for Sales and Factory Manufacture using our standard layouts.

Accurately produce plans, elevations and foundation pad layouts.

Filing, storage and retrieval of drawings.

Ensure drawings are prepared correctly and on schedule.
Ensure that our designs meet client requirements.

This is a full-time position.
Own transport is necessary due to our location as there is no public transport to Chawston.
