Learning Resource and Library Manager (HM029)

Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by leading and developing the Learning Resource Team across the three college campuses, to deliver a service which allows learners to access a range of resources and tools to enrich and develop their knowledge and skills.

We are looking to appoint a Library and Learning Resources Manager to join our Library team. This post will line manage the staff in the two learning resource centres on a day-to-day basis, manage the ordering for the service and liaising with the Curriculum areas. The post holder must be a confident IT user and have previous experience of working in a Library or Learning Resource Centre. You should be a good communicator and have a passion for the library service and how it can effectively support the curriculum. Previous experience of supervising staff and budgets is essential. You will be educated to degree level, be innovative, responsive and have a desire to provide a service which supports learning in a welcoming environment that is all-inclusive. In this role you will be expected to work across College sites and cover evenings.
