Assistant Management Accountant

We are looking for an assistant management accountant to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your key duties will be:

• Responsible for the finance function of the catering, sales and hospitality departments; including reconciliation and reporting on the financial performance
• Responsible for the production of the management accounts in respect of the catering, sales and hospitality departments
• Managing the sales ledger in respect to the catering, sales and hospitality departments
• To account for VAT accurately and completely in respect of all transactions.
• Reconciliation of catering stock
• Reconciliation of accrued and deferred income
• Dealing with financial queries
• Aiding in general office duties and covering when finance staff are on annual leave

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a similar role and would be working towards their CIMA/ ACCA qualification.

A team player, you will have good IT, numeracy, and financial skills. You will be accurate in your work and able to work agreed deadlines.

With excellent written and verbal communications skills, you will be happy to work alongside staff on the ground to understand the practical and operational challenges to delivering improved financial results.
