Details of Duties:

• Shape metal to hold the gems when making individual pieces.
• Create jewelry from gold, platinum, and precious gemstones.
• Make a model with carved wax or computer-aided design, then cast pieces with the model.
• Solder pieces together and insert stones.
• Repair jewelry by replacing broken clasps, altering ring sizes, or resetting stones.
• Smooth joints and rough spots and polish smoothed areas.

Details of Skills Required:

• Use jewelry equipments.
• Pour molten metal into moulds.
• Cast jewelry metal.
• Smoothen rough jewel parts.
• Develop jewelry designs.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma, ISCO skill level above level 3 is preferable.

Required Experience:

Minimum 4 years of work experience in relevant field.
