Health Care Assistant (Days & Nights)

Job description

We are looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to work in various settings in and around the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.

Full proof of immunisations - Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Hepatitus B as a minimum

You must have experience in one or all of the following areas: care of older people, mental health, dementia care, adults with disabilities, the care of terminally ill and behaviour that challenges.

Duties include but are not limited to; moving and handling of clients with utilisation of various hoist including standing hoist, razor chair, ceiling hoists etc. Walking aids, wheelchairs and transfers, assisting with meals, catheter care, stoma care, bed pans and commodes. Domestic duties and personal care including washing, bathing, oral care, putting to bed and getting up, dressings and undressing, monitoring of food and fluids.

All training must be up to date .

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks
Part-time hours: 20 - 48 per week

Salary: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
