School Transport Passenger Assistant

PASSENGER ASSISTANT FOR SCHOOL TRANSPORT

Alliance Transfer Service is currently recruiting for professional Passenger Assistant to work with us between 10-25 hours per week. £10.00 per hour will be paid for passenger assistant role.

Work will be based in and around Doncaster area and successful applicant will ideally live close to Doncaster city centre or able to travel to the city centre to start work on a daily basis, some transport costs may be met. A full enhanced DBS is required for successful applicants. The cost of it may be covered by employer.

PASSENGER ASSISTANT ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To collect children from home and take them to school in the morning. To collect children from school or college in the afternoon and take them home.

Passenger assistants make sure that each child safely boards the vehicle, (e.g taxi) and is secured before travelling.

Passenger assistants are responsible for the care and supervision of children and young people with additional needs while travelling to and from school or college.

To maintain good customer relations with parents and schools and contribute to a good atmosphere in the car.
