Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

Dual Seal Glass (A Vandaglas Company) are the UK's leading independent processors of high-performance vision and insulated spandrel glass panels for the construction industry. Our glass has been used in many iconic projects across the country including universities and colleges, leisure centres, football clubs, hospitals, hotels and offices.

About the role & Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to ensure minimum downtime.
• Routine preventative maintenance.
• General maintenance duties, both proactive and reactive.
• Fast and accurate fault finding.
• Carrying out electrical and diagnostic checks.
• Communicate with management team and production team.

About You

• Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering with relevant qualifications.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess an excellent understanding and commitment to safe working practises.
• Positive, flexible attitude.
• Excellent problem analysis and communication skills.
• High standard of work and commitment to quality.

This is full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week between Monday and Sunday on 4 week rotation shift pattern.
