We are currently seeking a Care Assistant to work with an elderly gentleman in Flitwick. The Care Assistant will be responsible for helping promote independance with personal care, such as dressing and assisting with daily activities. We're looking for someone who can help us provide this gentleman with an excellent standard of care.

Responsibilities:

• Domestic tasks
• Help patients maintain their independence as much as possible including using the toilet, bathing, and dressing; taking medication on time.
• Observe and report changes in patients' behavior to the senior care staff on call.
• Be gentle, kind, caring, supportive, and patient with patients and family members.
• Provide social and emotional support to patients and family members.
• Prepare snacks for patients; help with their meals if needed.
• Take and record vital signs of patients such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, blood sugar readings

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-25 per week

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Flitwick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• care experience (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day shift (required)
