Care Assistant

The Porterbrook Care Home is looking to appoint a Care Assistant, who will work alongside our empathetic and trustworthy care specialists for nights.

Situated in a quiet area in the suburb of Crosspool in Sheffield, we provide residential and dementia care for up to 44 residents

As Care Assistant your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for each resident, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident.

Care Assistant Contract

• £9.50 per hour

• 36 hours per week

• Pension

• 5.6 weeks annual leave

• DBS

• Onsite parking

• Paid breaks

Ideally, we are looking for our Care Assistants to have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Understandably, you may not have the required experience / qualifications, so we do expect you to have transferable skills and a genuine interest working with the elderly.
