Job Purpose:
You will work with a wide range of delivery squads and engineering teams around the business to provide them with the support, tooling and knowledge to achieve great results.
To be successful in this role you must have experience in the following:

Expert knowledge of

• Java
• Spring
• Microservices and Cloud-based architecture

Experience with

• GIT usage and code management
• Documenting solutions and code
• Security Principles
• Monitoring and Logging tools and frameworks (e.g. Prometheus and Grafana for metrics, Fluentd, Elasticsearch and Kibana for logs)
• Databases (Most of our services access MySQL databases via JPA and Hibernate)

Understanding of

• NodeJS
• Python
• AWS (e.g. Cloudfront, Route 53, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, EC2, IAM)
• Containerised systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Linux
