Machine setter/operator

We are seeking candidates with machine setting skills - preferably Wickman Multi spindles (but not essential) to work in a busy manufacturing environment producing steel and brass turned components of high quality.

The role involves setting and operating various machines from Wickman multi spindles, Fanuc controlled CNC machines to conventional markers and drillers to manufacture components to drawing to a high standard.

You may be the right person if you:

• A proven track record of setting CNC machines (Wickman Multi Spindles preferred) in a fast paced machining environment.
  
• Can read technical drawings, use measuring equipment and various types of measuring gauges.
  
• Have a high regard for attention to detail.
  
• Are a good team player.
  
• Can work accurately and efficiently using own initiative, taking resourceful action during periods of considerable pressure.
  
• Willingness and capability to learn develop and adapt.
  
• Can follow standard operating procedures.
