Responsibility / Job Description:

• The Game Host will greet our guests, introduce the objectives during the game, run through the rules, answer questions, and monitor the game while it's in progress.
• After each game, the Game Host will reset the room, putting each piece of the room back into its correct place, and make sure the room is ready for the next group of players.
• Promoting the business via Trip Advisor reviews and re-booking.
• When not actively involved in a game, the Game Host will clean the office space and maintain objects used in the game.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be fun, outgoing, enthusiastic, and responsible. You should enjoy interacting with people to ensure they are enjoying themselves. The Game Host is an integral part of the customer experience from beginning to end. Other helpful characteristics include:-

• Game or puzzle-minded and creative thinker
• Flexible with regards to work schedule
• Hard working
• Must be confident, accountable, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable in engaging with both small and large groups of people
• Computer literate with experience and confidence of using computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Great sense of humour with an engaging and fun personality.

We are looking for employees that can also work over the summer holidays

Pay: NMW

Hours: Hours pro rata - must be flexible to work weekdays and weekends - including at least one day at the weekend. Shifts can vary from 4-12 hours.

There is scope in this role for progression to a duty manager position for the right candidate. Duties will include cash handling, key holding and other managerial responsibilities.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 0-16 per week

Salary: £7.50-£11.36 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme

COVID-19 considerations:
Common Surfaces are sanitised regularly.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Plymouth, PL4 0BB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
