Support Worker - Gateshead

Homes Together offers residential care to young adults with varying needs who require full-time care and support.

We are currently looking for a full-time Support Worker to work at our care home in Gateshead. The ideal candidate would have experience supporting individuals with behaviours which challenge the service.

You must hold a full UK drivers license and have experience driving in the UK.

Our service users prefer female candidates only. Shifts can start at 8am and finish at 10pm. Sleepovers are also a requirement. 37hrs/week Monday-Sunday.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Assisting service users with all areas care and support which includes personal care

· Preparing meals and baking with service users

· Supporting service users on outings, social events and in the community

· Assisting with the day to day running of the home and domestic tasks

· Compassionate and enjoys interacting with people

· Warm and friendly disposition

· Positive attitude

· Genuine passion for providing care and support
