JOB TITLE Cleaning Operative

LOCTATION Newcastle upon Tyne

JOB SUMMARY

Working on behalf of Vista FM as part of the team to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service, ensuring high standards of cleaning are delivered and maintained to meet our clients’ specification. We are looking for someone available for an immediate start

HOURS 8.5 per week

DAYS Monday-Friday

SHIFTS Between 17:30 - 19:15

PAY Starting from £10.42

JOB ROLE

• Cleaning tasks to include vacuuming, mopping, polishing, sanitising and general cleaning tasks.
• Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment provided by Vista FM & the Client.
• Following the required specification to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Following Health & Safety procedures.
• Ensuring personal appearance and uniform are as expected in line with your employee handbook
• Following through with any issues identified

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

• Capable of carrying out physical aspects of the role
• Good interpersonal skills providing a great service to the customer
• Ability to manage your time efficiently
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• 18+ only due to key holder position

DESIRABLE

• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Flexibility to work additional shifts & overtime
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH

DBS CHECK REQUIREMENT

This role does not require a Disclosure and Barring Service

(DBS) check at this time.

Where a role requires a DBS this must be obtained by VISTA FM.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8.5 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 6DB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
