THE ROLE

We are looking for housekeepers to join our team at the 41-bedroom Oak Tree Inn in Balmaha, recent winner of SLTN's Gastropub of the Year.

We are recruiting for both full and part-time positions. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Maintaining clean and sanitary public areas
• Making beds and changing linens
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Keeping bathrooms immaculate and well stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• Any ad hoc deep cleaning required of the company

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in housekeeping is beneficial but not essential.
• Work well under pressure and strive to meet deadlines.
• Be available to work weekends.
• Be polite at all times, and a true team player.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £9.90-£10.42 per hour
