Freelance Event Crew

As a well-established Events and Entertainment company with over 10 years of industry experience, we are seeking a hard-working individual who shares our enthusiasm for being part of an outstanding team. Joining our crew means working alongside experienced professionals in the events and entertainment business, providing you with the opportunity to grow and develop your skills alongside industry experts.

Based in London, this role requires travel within the city and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for assisting with the setup and dismantling of equipment at various locations, as well as being prepared to work in a fast-paced environment. Our work involves setting up entertainment and display arrangements for a variety of live events.

Key Requirements:

• Must be self-employed with a UTR Number
• Must have 4 years minimum experience as a freelancer in Live Events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Punctuality and strong time management skills
• Must be over 18 years old

Additional skills that would be beneficial:

• Experience as a plant operative (MEWPS, NPORS, IPAF, PASMA)
• Van and truck driving skills (over 25 years old)
• Carpentry and scaffolding experience
• Qualified rigger
• Background in audio/visual work

Successful candidates will receive training to the highest standards in Audio/Visual work and health and safety practices.

Job Type: Freelance

Salary: £14.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Freelance events: 4 years (required)
