Job Description
Overall Goal: To ensure that all work procedures are adhered to in a safe manner whilst maintaining a high quality of work, working towards set deadlines and targets in the most efficient and productive way.

General Responsibilities & Brief (The duties listed below are not listed in any order of priority or importance and are not intended to restrict or prioritise the activities of the working day):

Key Tasks:

• To maintain and service all existing equipment in a professional manner
• To install new or re-locate existing equipment as required by the company
• To advise and work on modification to and refurbishments of existing machines and equipment
• To maintain a clean and tidy area
• To advise and work on any parts of the buildings
• To advise the Manager/Supervisor of any problems which arise, or are likely to arise
• All working procedures and safety standards must be adhered to
• To work as a team member within the department
• To advise on any preventative maintenance within the Company
• To complete any Plumbing, Bricklaying, Joinery , Tiling, Groundwork, work within skill range
• To give instruction to assist suitable personnel to enable them to safely complete simple joinery work
• Ability to identify hazards
• All above tasks must be carried out under the Health and Safety guidelines
• Working at Heights
• All COSHH regs must be adhered to when working with hazardous products
• To commit to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

Key Role Objectives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sheffield, South Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• General Building/Maintenance: 3 years (required)
• general building: 1 year (preferred)
