About the Role:
- Installation of 215mm blocks on a flat surface.
- CSCS Card Essential
- Relevant IOSHH / NVQ Required
- Client will provide mixers and materials for the job.
- Bring and utilize personal tools required for bricklaying tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient project completion.
- Work on-site in Caldicot NP26 for a duration of 6 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks according to specifications and construction plans.
- Ensure the proper alignment, leveling, and spacing of bricks.
- Use mortar to adhere bricks together securely.
- Cut and shape bricks to fit corners, edges, and other specific areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bricklayer or similar role.
- Proficient in bricklaying techniques and able to work with precision.
- Knowledge of brick types, mortar mixes, and construction materials.
- Ability to interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
