HGV Class 1 Driver (Temp to Perm)
LS Network ↗Logistics Support Network are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver, for our client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. We are looking for a driver to support the trunking operation of a long-term contract at our clients’ hub. These roles are on a temp to perm basis ONLY.
The main roles of HGV Class 1 Driver will include:
- Average shift length 8 – 11 hours per shift
- 1 or 2 runs per day on set trunking routes
- Keeping in contact with the depot and reporting any issues as they happen
- Completion of all relevant paperwork
To be considered, HGV Class 1 Driver are required to have the following:
- Must hold a current, valid Class 1/C+E UK licence
- Must have a digital tachograph card & full CPC card
- No DR’s or DD’s endorsements (for insurance purposes only)
- Must successfully pass a 2-hour assessment & induction
Rate whilst with the agency is:
- £16.81ph Monday to Friday
Please note, we are only looking for drivers who are happy to go full time. Please see below the permanent rate:
- £14.17ph, guaranteed 48-hour week
- Double time on bank holiday
Holiday pay is accrued separately to the above rates.
We are looking for a driver to cover a 1400 run, Monday to Friday.
