Staff Nurse – Surgical Ward

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our client’s busy Surgical Inpatient Ward at their small acute hospital site, based in a comfortable suburb of the redbrick industrial city of Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
This is an almost full-time post at 34.5 hours but we are open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity, equally from those seeking a permanent night duty role.

Set in beautiful grounds within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes, their Wolverhampton Hospital has 27 ensuite inpatient beds, treating patients from the following specialities – orthopaedics, ophthalmology, oncology, ENT, gynaecology, general surgery and diagnostics.
It has two operating theatres of which one has a laminar flow system
This centre of excellence delivers a high standard of Surgical care supported by state-of-the-art equipment.

Person requirements:
Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC.
At least six months experience in a Surgical Ward setting, Orthopaedic experience is desireable but not essential.
We may also consider articulate and motivated newly-qualified Nurses with proven Surgical Ward placement experience and a desire to develop into the role further in a multi-speciality setting.
