Assistant Lecturer in the Division of Dietetics, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Radiography: (Radiography- Diagnostic)


Hours: 1.0 FTE

Salary: Grade 7: £36,333- £40,745

Open Ended Contract: Teaching and Scholarship

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in academia and to be a key contributor within the School of Health Sciences at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, providing a high quality, exceptional and transformative educational experience to students in an innovative and high-tech learning environment. You will play a key role in growing our portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the field of Radiography. In addition, where relevant, there are opportunities to contribute to programmes across the Division, School and wider University.


The School, with its breadth of professional programmes, delivers Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health as well as Therapeutic and Diagnostic Radiography, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapies, Speech and Hearing Science, Nursing and Paramedic Science. As such we are in a unique position to develop opportunities for multi-professional and interdisciplinary learning and teaching, scholarly activity and research.


To apply for this role, you must be registered or eligible for registration with the HCPC, hold a qualifying first degree, or equivalent, in radiography (diagnostic), and have clinical experience demonstrating a knowledge of contemporary general and cross-sectional imaging practice.
