Kennel and Cattery Assistant

We are looking for a part time applicant to cover our busy holiday period up until September/October. We provide holidays for much loved family pets 7 days a week and require cover for different days but especially over weekends when busy.

Animal Care qualification essential, full training will be given but expect a physical job in all weathers. The applicant must be flexible with hours to suit our accommodation requirements, sometimes at short notice. We need a good level of reliability due to the training time involved, so we encourage committed applicants with a genuine love of animals. Own transport also essential due to semi rural location with no bus route through.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4/5 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
A screen is fitted around the reception desk. Hand sanitiser is at the point of entry and surfaces are regularly cleaned.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Matlock, DE4 2GL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
