Band 6 £11.39 per hour

Casual hours (Working as and when required)

Hartlepool Children’s Services are seeking to recruit a bank of Casual Sessional Workers with the appropriate skills to work with children, young people and their families who are in receipt of a range of services, activities and interventions.

You will potentially be required to provide both individual and group support for children and young people who access children’s centres, youth support services and also support supervised contact between children and their parents who are in receipt of social care services. The role will suit people who are flexible, who are able to engage and motivate both children, young people and adults and can assist in delivering a range of activities to help children, young people and their families to lead happy, safe and healthy lives.

You will require excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a non-judgmental and open-minded approach to work with children, young people and their families.

Although we are interested in recruiting a range of skills, evidence such as an NVQ Level 2 or above in a subject relevant to the work will be required.
