As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth running of the finance function and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.

Your responsibilities as the Accounts Assistant will include:
Processing purchase and sales invoices and reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with credit control and managing customer accounts
Bank reconciliations and petty cash management
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory filings
Providing ad-hoc support to the finance team as required
What you will need to succeed in this role:
Relevant accounting qualification or working towards one (e.g. AAT)
Experience in a similar role within a finance function
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
