Health, Safety and Security Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Devon Partnership NHS Trust as the Health, Safety and Security Manager.

This is a senior management position providing strategic direction and leadership in the development of Trust risk management strategy and the strategic direction and management of the Trust's statutory health, safety and security duties to ensure a healthy environment for all employees, service users, contractors and general public.

The post holder will be required to act as the appointed competent person to provide expert advice, help and guidance in order that the organisation can fulfil its responsibilities under health, safety, security and environmental legislation. They will lead this portfolio of compliance requirements in all matters related to health, safety and security and to support Trust managers, committees and staff at all levels. This will include the application and demonstration of full compliance with legislation / statutory requirements, best practice and the identification and delivery of solutions / change and improvements to health, safety and security hazards and risks.

The post holder will ensure adequate arrangements are in place for the management of health,safety and security throughout the organisation.
