General Manager

We’re looking for a top-class manager, and confident self-starter, to run our new exciting café/ bar,

Long Row Social. You’ll be amazing with customers and a passion for service is a must, our customers love our informal and relaxed café for breakfast, coffee and award winning Pieminister pies throughout the day and enjoy our bar and it’s fun, exciting atmosphere.

A confident leader able to engage with our brilliant team, coach them and get them to share your vision and passion for top-class service and fostering a vibrant, fun atmosphere. You’ll be trusted and empowered to run your store, and supported by an experienced regional and head office team.

This is a brand-new concept so we are looking for someone with similar experience to be able to help shape this new exciting offering.

• Leading a small team of bar or pub ( remove these words) staff by example, serving coffee , pitching in to help with drink mixing or table service where necessary
• Driving sales and meeting profitability targets
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Ensuring consistent, high quality food & beverages are served to customers
• Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints
• Creating a positive work environment for staff and encouraging their career development
• Monitoring inventory of beverages to ensure adequate stock
• Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area and paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations
• Setting rotas and ensuring both FOH and BOH are fully staff, within budget
• Working with our brilliant marketing team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
