At dnata we provide a Ground Handling service for our Customer Airlines ensuring safe and secure delivery all Passengers, Cargo and Baggage for the full customer journey.

The role is working in a fast-paced at Heathrow Airport, alongside our prestigious
Airline partners.

Job Summary

As a Baggage Facilities Agent you will assist passengers with lost and damage baggage enquiries including answering phone enquiries and organising the delivery of their bags. You will attend to customers complaints and queries, re- flight missed bags & re-route/rush bags and at all times representing the customer airline.

Hours of work:

37.5 hours per week, earlies, lates and weekends, on a rotating shift pattern to suit the business operation.

The job holder must have a flexible approach to working variable shift patterns

Job Requirements

· A full clean driving License.

· Previous experience of working within a customer orientated airport environment is essential

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and establish good working relationships with staff

· Absolute discretion and confidentiality, with an ability to work to within tight deadlines and with appropriate attention to detail

· Competent and conscientious, with a flexible approach (working hours etc)

· Customer focused, with the ability to remain calm under pressure

· A good team player but capable of individual action

· Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment

· Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and enhanced criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
