Fashion Designer

AminaZ Design Studio of Bangladesh is looking for experienced fashion designers to join the design team. Categories of interest include all types of wear for men/women/boys/girls/kids category. AminaZ Design Studio is a design studio of Sinha Knit Ind. Ltd. and Sinha Knit & Denims Ltd. which are a leading export-oriented apparel manufacturing industry based in Bangladesh a sister concern of ACME Group, one of Bangladesh`s leading industrial groups.

Job Responsibilities:

· To do best innovations, create own concept, analysis & forecast of fashion trends of clothing

in terms of fabric, colors, and product items for all types of wear for men/ women/ boys/ girls/kid’s category

· Create hand-drawn sketches, designs, flat patterns, technical drawings and other required art / illustrations.

· Presenting story, mood, colour boards, and samples.

· Research market trends to understand new fabrics, colors, silhouettes, fits, washes.

· Understand the customer needs and identify seasonal trend directions in silhouette, print &

· graphic, embellishments and finishing fabric to provide product range.

· Select textiles and color, graphics/prints, materials, fit, and trims to make popular and bestselling styles

· Prepare rough and detailed designs of apparel both manually and using various software

· such as Adobe Illustrator (AI), Photoshop (PS) etc.

· Understand the needs of project and design according to its requirements

· Understand the different fabric qualities/ yarn/ pattern making/ fits/ measurements/

· /Grading/Cutting technical aspects of garment construction.

· Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking

· design inspiration.

· Maintains the T&A calendar for all new development samples & analyze fabric/trim

· requirements, washing requirements & ensure correct fits.

· Ensures all customer requirements are met on new developments as per tech packs,

· measurements, packaging, and labelling details and flag any risks to the buyers in advance

· Works closely with the sample room and oversee the sampling process and identify possible

· problems or issues and help to resolve them.

· Assesses and evaluate fit on mannequins, live models, and 3D avatars along with the

· technical manager as and when required

· Work on WGSN and Snoop and build mood boards and presentations to customers

· depending on the products.

Educational Requirements:

· Degree in fashion designing from a renowned fashion institute.

Experience Requirements:

· 3 to 4 year(s)

· The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Art & Sketch, Fashion Design

Skills Required:

· Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, CAD Designing, CLO 3D, Fashion Designing

Additional Requirements:

· Excellent knowledge on all types of wear for men/women/boys/girls/kid’s category

· Should have the capability to create own concept.

· Should have graphics knowledge on a garment basis.

· Should have excellent capability in 2D/ 3D sketch designing.

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, CAD, CLO, Adobe Illustrator & Adobe

· Photoshop.

· Availability to travel for research and product development.

· Ability to do sketches by hand.

· Excellent design and conceptual skills.

· Excellent sense of style and color.

· Excellent knowledge in embroidery, print, pattern and new techniques.

· Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to meet multiple deadlines.

Job Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Salary: Negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
