Support Worker - Days
Cygnet ↗Cygnet is looking for Support Workers (Days only) to join our team working at Devon Lodge. If you have previously worked or are currently working as a care assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker looking for a new opportunity or your first role within Social Care to help support residents with Autism and Learning Difficulties within a care home setting as part of the NHS partnership.
Devon Lodge is a 12-Bed specialist residential care home supporting adults over the age of 18 with Autism and Learning Difficulties located in Hedge End (S030 2FL) 20-minutes’ walk from Hedge End Station.

What you will need:
- Positive Attitude and Caring Approach
- Strong Communication Skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- No previous care experience is required
About the Role:
- Working from 08:00 am till 08:00 pm (12 Hour Shifts)
- Working two weekends a month
- 42-Hours a Week (Full-Time)
- Helping to promote resident independence
- Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
- Going out with residents into the local community to attend parks, swimming and local cinema.
- Taking part in activities held both within the care home
- Completing resident’s records to help monitor health and overall well-being
