Midwifery Matron

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our leadership team as a Midwifery Matron leading the maternity inpatient areas at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital site of Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting time for our cross site maternity services that provide maternity care for 9000 women per year, as we deliver our maternity strategy with our staff and service users and get ready for our move into the new maternity facilities at LDH site in the Autumn of 2024. The LDH is a comprehensive service complemented with an Obstetric physician, Fetal medicine and a level 3 NICU and a wonderful team of medical, midwifery, nursing and support colleagues all working together to deliver safe, responsive and effective care to those who use our services.

You will have a proven track record as a compassionate leadership able to deliver all the elements of the operational portfolio as a matron.
