Consultant in Public Health

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our senior public health team on a two years fixed term contract.

Consultants in Public Health help people and communities maximise their potential for a healthy, happy and productive life, so they can live healthier for longer.

Your portfolio will cover the place agenda, ensuring we maximise the built and natural environment to improve the health of our population. As well as leading on areas such as air pollution and planning, you will also be responsible for the behaviour change team that is critical to all our services and will build on our award winning COVID vaccination champions work.

Youll focus on health at a population level, looking at ways to make communities and environments healthier, reducing ill-health and tackling health inequalities.

This post requires specialist public health leadership to ensure that impacts on health are considered in the development and implementation of all policies.
