Editor - Web Content Editor
AbbeycareAbbeycare is hiring for a Content Editor, with experience in the *Addiction Recovery* niche.
Please only apply if you have experience in the addiction niche or a medical qualification that would help you understand this niche.
For example, Addiction Nurse, Mental Health, Counsellor etc.
*Required*
- Experience in addiction recovery niche
- Outstanding English
- Resident in UK/US/Canada only
*The Role*
- Proofing and editing addiction rehab niche articles on our site in WordPress and making appropriate checks and corrections for:
- Plagiarism/spun content/AI, grammar & spelling, niche relevant content, removing fluff and filler, sanity checking, inserting additional content where necessary.
- Research and writing article outline for the writers
- Publishing edited content to the website (WordPress)
- Instructions and training will be provided
While this is a remote role, we are hiring only from the UK/US/Canada at this time.
*Pay Scale* - £12.50 per hour
We'll provide training to help you understand the exact style we're looking for.
The role is a freelance position during a 3-month trial period, with the opportunity to progress to SLA contract thereafter if successful.
