Transport Controller/Logistics

RHA furniture is a 30 year old family run company supplying high quality furniture to Hotels, Spas, Healthcare and Restaurants throughout Europe and the UK.

We import furniture from all over Europe, mainly Italy and Portugal and work closely with our partner company in Portugal

We have a young diverse team based in Brentford and are looking for someone to work closely with the team and help with obtaining transport and courier costs, booking & organising installation teams & labour when required and preparing all necessary corresponding documents. Visits to our local warehouse is sometimes necessary to check goods.

A good level of English both written and spoken is essential , intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 package a must ( Teams, Word and Excel), problem solving & analytical mind required.

Job Description:

The role is flexible with its duties and requires someone who is happy to help where needed. It will mainly consist of:

· Liasing with our Portugal office and transport companies organising packing lists and dealing with our custom agents

· Arranging trucks/ deliveries/install teams for UK projects and Ireland

· Small local deliveries in our van

· Mid-level heavy lifting & loading is sometimes required

Full Time – Hours 8.30am – 5pm – some flexibility required occasionally

Salary – Dependent on experience £23k – 28K per annum

This position would suit someone with a can do attitude, who lives locally to Brentford and can work as part of a team as well as independently. Must have a full clean driving license. Handyman skills and working within EU imports since Brexit advantageous.
